Build Your Own CBG Workshop// Penrith // Sunday 14th March 2027 2027

Back by popular demand! Limited spaces, don't miss out Sunday 14th March

Includes lunch and little more time.

Ever wanted to build your own cigar box guitar? Want an introduction to playing one?

After the 1st of my make and play CBG workshop sold out I'm pleased to offer a limited space for another session the day after. All tools/materials/slides and tutoring are provided, just turn up, and wear something you don't mind getting a bit dusty!

Event runs 10am-3pm, the first half of our session we'll be putting a CBG together using a genuine cigar box! Second half will be an introduction to slide playing and getting used to your new instrument!

Location:  Blue Jam Arts Space, Mostyn Hall, 13 Friargate, Penrith CA11 7XR

The blue jam arts space is a wonderful venue right in the heart of Penrith. There is ample parking for the folk on the day. If arriving by train etc, it is a short walk into town or short ride from the train station.

Brews and lunch will be provided on the day, emails will go out beforehand so make sure to reply!

Due to woodworking and use of sharp tools, the event is restricted, we ask anyone 14+ for permission and then to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. (Please get them to drop an email before purchasing, normal ticket price applies to each individual.)

We will be making an entry level electro acoustic CBG with piezo pickup ready to annoy the neighbours!

Note: This is an in person event, no virtual recording or remote attendance is accepted.  Please keep that in mind for your travelling arrangements. Use an email in your purchase so we can track and send out relevant information closer to the date, please also follow our social media as some relevant information pay be posted this way, cheers!

Due to the venue location there are certain limits with accessibility, please reach out beforehand to me if this would affect you so we can sort something out where possible.
