Esso Oil Can 3 String Fretless Guitar
Vintage Esso oil can CBG style guitar, fretless with low enough action to fret out notes. The chrome surface humbucker packs a punch with 8k output, straight to jack just plug in and riff. Neck is Ash and is completely hand carved, with walnut fretboard and wood burned frets. Scale length is 23 inches so is short but easily playable and has a good balance to it. Headstock is custom shape with sapele wings, and has locking tuners too. Fretwire bridge with handmade brass tailpiece, strap button at base and on back of the heel. Necks hand finished with a special wood polish and sealed with natural beeswax. This one is reduced as it has a mark by one of the brass eyelets, purely cosmetic and unnoticeable these usually go for £120 at shows so grab a bargain.
I do demos etc of these so I know what I'm making and more importantly, how they should play.
These are made in a barn not a workshop, so can show signs of wear/use etc, something you'll add to by playing it.
